Lamotta's Italian Pizzeria - Fort Myers

I absolutely love dining at LaMotta. It feels just like home with family, thanks to its simple and relaxed atmosphere. The food is always fresh and incredibly delicious. My favorite dish is the linguini with red clam sauce – it's to die for! Then there’s the lobster ravioli, the meatballs with Lutscher, the roasted calamari (like you won't find anywhere else), the puttanesca, the meat sauce, and the eggplant parm – I could go on and on! You never have to worry about portion sizes either, as there are always leftovers that taste even better the next day! And don't get me started on dessert – the tiramisu, chocolate truffles, and the best cannoli around. I just have to give LaMotta a 5-star rating. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention – they serve the best pizza in the area, especially the white pizza. It's amazing!

We had a great dinner! Try the mozzarella and tomato stack as an appetizer. Delicious the olive oil puzzle along with the Balsamico vinegar was perfect. The baked spaghetti dish was so big enough to take something home the next day. Nonnas gnocchi was my wife's dish in a tomato cream sauce. Cannolis and coffee for dinner was a good choice. Service grandios! This one of our favorites on our menu.

I met a friend for dinner last night and we wanted to decide where to go. Since we both love Italian, I suggested we try LaMotta's. I've loved her pizza since the move here as well as the extensive menu. We were greeted by a friendly server and set immediately. Chef Carmelo generously had a give away where I won a bottle of wine that was refreshing and delicious. My friend had the Canneloni and after a lot of debate (I love the Francese) I decided to try the Nonnas Gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce. Both meals were incredible! We'll definitely be back. The food here is always excellent. Tonight, I had the Ossobuco, and it was fantastic. The lamb chops were to die for. The salad was also wonderful; I could drink the dressing straight from a wine glass, regardless of how clean my bowl was! Overall, great food, great wine, and great owners. Make sure to arrive HUNGRY!

The best thin crust pizza I have ever had. Their meat ball sub was also wonderful. Service was quick and friendly.
