City Fish Market - Fort Myers

The restaurant features clean outdoor seating along the canal, offers delicious food, and provides excellent service. I will definitely return!

Here's my 2 cents. The food is great. I had Pangasius dinner. It is similar to cod and just as delicious. The fish was fried for perfection. Crispy on the outside moist on the inside. The Hushpuppies were delish. Fries aaa is crying. They make their own sweet tea. Not great. Over all an excellent meal. Now chat. It is located in the old part of Fort Myers. It's been here for 40 years. A fish market. Expect some flies. It's mostly to go. 1 table. No a/c. Not for the chic or foo designer nose in the air people. Just good to earth food. I was told when you buy (Frogbeine or Alligator) they will cook it for you. It's not in the menu. So if in the need for salt of earth real working people eat. You have to come here. A great meal or sandwich awaits.

Excellent fish sandwich!!!!! The fish sandwich (pangasius) shown here is 4 to 5 stars. we also bought fresh groupers, shrimps, pangasius and snapper for cooking on the grill at home and never had a bad product. It is worth driving a fresh fish sandwich. You'll never regret it.

What a gem I discovered at the real Farmers Market (Edison Avenue) in Fort Myers! The only seating is outside, but the experience is well worth it. The portions are generous for the price. I ordered two small Pangasius sandwiches with their signature sauce. Pangasius is a very mild fish that was previously labeled as imitation grouper until the federal government clarified its true name. It was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing. I believe this is one of the best value seafood lunches in Fort Myers, plus it's a great spot to purchase fresh seafood to take home. I can't wait to return to try the Conch Fritters, Hushpuppies, and Crab Rolls!
