Petes Time Out - Fort Myers Beach

This is a great little beachfront spot to hang out. They have live music and plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch.

My friend and I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Upon arriving, we were greeted and informed the server that we only wanted to order cocktails. After my friend ordered a drink, the server rolled her eyes and requested to see our IDs, which we promptly provided. Although she took a while to inspect them, that wasn't the issue. The problem was her attitude and unprofessional behavior. The drink my friend ordered tasted like lemon cleaner, and when the bill arrived, the server did not ask if we wanted anything else. She insisted that we enter our pin numbers to pay, which I had never experienced before. My friend had a new card and hadn't set up a pin yet, but the server refused to let her use another card and was unpleasant throughout the interaction. Additionally, the bartender behaved inappropriately by grinding on my friend, and the waitress made derogatory remarks about us to the bartender. This kind of behavior was completely unprofessional and the staff's attitude was disrespectful. I highly recommend avoiding this place and visiting the neighboring establishments instead.

I love visiting this restaurant every time I'm in Fort Myers. The food is always delicious, but the service was not as good as it has been in the past. The bartender seemed hungover and a bit rude. It's unfortunate because it affected my decision to visit multiple times during my stay.

This is a wonderful place to eat at the beach. I had the Friday special which was amazing! I had the key lime pie as well. Which is my favorite! They make it not too sweet or too tangy. Just right! My only suggestion would be this. If the wait staff couldask how things are going. I know that sounds trivial, but it matters. Especially if they come back to check on you every littlebit to see if everything is okay. I know when it's busy it can be difficult. Friday when I went it was a slow time. Other thanthat it was wonderful and I will go again for sure!

Unfortunately the Management has ruined this previously great place to visit in Fort Myers Beach. No more draught beer other than craft brands, no more happy hours, prices for pub food now ridiculous, service is not what it used to be. On a bright notemost of the other establishments next to it seem to be taking advantage of the downfall of this once icon in Times Square. Greedtends to create this type of outcome.
