Cajun Yard Dog - Fort Mill

Moved to the area about 2 months ago and kept seeing this place so with my wife out of town decided to stop in for dinner. All I can say is very very good. From the catfish bites starter, to the gumbo soup, through the chicken cordon blu with green beans almondine and grits on the side entree to the blackberry cobbler with a nice scoup of vanilla ice cream covered by whipped cream, the meal was very very good. Combine this great, friendly staff, excellent service, awesome (and lively New Orleans style) music background and you've got a great evening or lunch for that matter!! Pictures below were my meal.

We had a party of 9 the staff was wonderful. We all ordered different so we could taste variety. Everything was great. They have plenty of sauces if you want more spice too. Every desert was amazing. Perfect place if you just want a desert coffee or a whole meal.

I had a fantastic experience at this Cajun restaurant! The food was delicious and the bar atmosphere was lively. They offered happy hour prices until 6 PM, and the $4 wine was very good. The mushroom appetizer was the biggest I've ever encountered—definitely worth the price! I ordered the red beans and rice, and the sausage that came with it was amazing. I really enjoyed the dish, especially after adding a bit of hot sauce. The portion sizes were generous; there was more than enough for leftovers. I would have given it five stars if the bar had some more decor and if the air conditioning had been working better on our side of the restaurant. Overall, thanks for the great food!

The restaurant's appearance wasn't very impressive, but the food exceeded my expectations. The service was fast, and the jambalaya was delicious, while the hamburger steak was absolutely delightful!

The Cajun food here is fantastic! The shrimp and grits, mac 'n' cheese, and catfish were all incredibly tasty. My only issue is that they serve Texas Pete (which is from North Carolina) instead of Louisiana Hot Sauce (made in Louisiana). Other than that, everything was excellent!
