Original Joe's - Fort McMurray

Got here and the spot was fairly empty, got seated promptly, that's always nice. Cleaned tidy setting, with an open social setting. Our server seemed a little disengaged from us guests whom he served, I had a grasshopper draft a starter Caesar salad. Which I must say came out pretty darn fast, my friends didn't like their drafts, citing their draft was too old/ stale. I had a 10oz Sterling Silver New York Striploin grilled to medium rare served with steak spice, mashed potatoes, pan seared broccolini, topped with sautéed garlic mushrooms. Food tasted good, however it's my second time in Fort Mac so I don't have any reference to base my rating on the foods in the area. Do try this location if you are within the immediate area, thirsty and would like to grab a bite as well.

Pretty good food. Service is indifferent. Most people seem to come here to get wasted. Drinks good service average and tattoos are abundant. Restroom smelled like an open grave.

I'm giving this place a two stars for the service mostly my pita wrap thing was decent but stale. my pal had the bbq pork sandwich he really enjoyed the fries were underwhelming cooked wel but unsalted. it took us 50 ish minutes to get 2 sandwiches. nothing that is overly difficult to cook it's not super easy like nachos or something but still. service was subpar couldn't get a water to save my life.

Upon reading my review and 1 star rating I received a call from the general manager of Original Joe's in Ft McMurray. She was very apologetic and promised to review the problems with her serving staff, I believe she was sincere with her apologies and promises to take care of things. As mentioned before, I know they have great food, and usually great service. I am going back!

This is my favourite place to eat when I visit town. I had the Brussels sprouts with Cajun chicken and this amazing sauce. It's on the appetizer menu. The waitress was attentive and the price/value is perfect. Next time I visit I want to get the cookies and milk.
