Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

Terrific lunch at the airport. Famoso has a terrific/pretty authentic Italian menu. Really good eats. Too bad it’s all the way at the airport, but they validate parking, so that’s a plus!

Food here is great. Pizzas are thin, so if you are hungry order the larger size. Wish they had another location aside from the airport, as I would love to visit this place more often.

This gem is the only place in ft Mac that offers Neapolitan pizza that I’ve found... and it’s great. Lots of different toppings you can. Great taste, to bad it’s hidden at the airport

Awesome neapolitan pizzas. Very clean place . Great staff. Good prices Beer on tap. Authentic pizza oven. This is the place to go if your in ft mac airport. I hope they expand with more locations. Quality pizza at prices that make you wonder how this isnt the norm. Not your sub-standard big box pizza place at all.

I love Famoso. I was very excited that my favorite pizza place was finally coming to Fort McMurray (albeit all the way out at the airport... . When they first opened they had the full normal Famoso menu that you would find at any other Famoso across Canada, but gradually they started removing menu items, not you can only get the very basics, and not even some of those....Prosciutto wrapped moza balls, one of the original menu items that put Famoso on the map are gone. Don't get me wrong, the wood fired pizzas here are still great (Cedars bakery and Townhall in town also have great wood fire pizzas without the drive , but if your going to drive all the way out to the air port, be warned the menu is limited to best to check in advance to make sure they have what your looking for. Also no specials or seasonal features. Please open a full menu'd Famoso in town!
