Moe's Southwest Grill - Fort Lauderdale

I usually skip the office lunches when Moe's is on the menu because I’m not a fan of hot, spicy, seasoned, or Mexican food. However, after being reassured that I could create a custom burrito, I decided to give it a try. The chips were tasty, and the filling of steak, cheese, tomato, and sour cream would have made for an excellent sandwich. Unfortunately, the wrap was soggy, sticky, and lacking in flavor. I ended up eating the filling with a fork, and when paired with the chips, it made for an acceptable lunch. I might consider ordering it again, but I would definitely add some cheese dip for the chips. Still, I can see why others enjoy it so much; I know six people who rave about the place and go there a couple of times a week.

It's a bit unfortunate that this restaurant is situated in such a challenging location. I find it tough to access it when coming from the east on Commercial, and getting back onto the road during rush hour is nearly impossible. However, aside from the six people who greeted me with a loud "Welcome to Moe's," I had a pleasant dining experience. I appreciate that everything is made right in front of you, which gives it a fresh feel—something that can't always be said for Taco Bell. Overall, for a fast food restaurant, I would give this place an A-plus.
