A&W - Fort Frances

Love eating at A&W - love the teen burgers, love the onion rings, love the root beer and especially when they have ice cream for floats in the summer!

Drive on past this A&W if heading north to Kenora. The two hour drive will be worth it if you need a Teen burger fix. Dirty and Slow. Very run down. Employee handles money including the donation coins pick up a dropped burger place back in bag then do her hair. 25 min for order and place is not busy.

While travelling around and just need a quick fix we have stopped at many A&W's. The Fort Frances location is the best one we have ever had. I have complimented the owners over the years and told them they definitely are by far the best!!!

I used to love this place, but it seems less friendlier each time I have stopped in over the past two years. The food Is just average, and even their burgers taste like the patties have been sitting around in a warmer for a while. I will probably stop going here all together - plenty of other, better options close by.

Nice restaurant in Fort Frances, open early at 6:30am. Breakfast is homestyle, bacon and eggs, toast, hash browns and a coffee. Nice way to start the day. Prices reasonable, quick service as well. Almost next to the Super 8 hotel in town.
