Chef Tobalo - Fort Erie

The food at this restaurant was bland and boring. The burrito had an exceptionally small soft shell and was not flavorful. The plain white rice was unimpressive and the chicken was tasteless. Overall, the quality of the food was far from satisfactory.

Nothing fancy but the food is authentic and delicious. Pleasant friendly service. Highly recommend. The chicken burrito is awesome

Having just moved to the Fort Erie area we have had a fun time trying all the great food places in the area .. Chef Tobalo was no exception. I spoke with Maria who is from Argentina while waiting for my food to be prepared. They were busy as it was lunch but I certainly didnt mind the wait as it smelled soooo delicious which made the anticipation for my steak quesidillia even better! My order was exactly as I wanted no sour cream with pico on the side.. and wonderful!! Im sure i'll be be back in soon to try something else! Epenadas, tacos, nachos??? I tried the soft chicken tacos and I was amazed. The chicken and havanero salsa is incredible. I wish I could eat here everyday!!

We ordered quite a bit of variety and all the food was okay but we found it a bit boring and uninspired. Also they got almost all of the order wrong. Drastically and inexplicably wrong. The staff were gracious about it and offered apologies and free extras. This wouldhave been good enough to go back if the food had been better. We never went back.
