The Garlic Knot - Fort Collins

I had lunch at this restaurant, and the service was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious. The knots were served with the best marinara sauce I’ve ever tasted. They have an impressive selection of pizzas, but we decided to try the “Mott” pizza, and it was perfect! It had the best pizza crust I’ve ever experienced!

My Chicken Parm “Sub” is quite disappointing. It is two 3 inch wide, 1/2 inch thick chicken patties (that look like something from the frozen food aisle in a grocery store) slapped onto a toasted hot dog bun. The chicken patties are nearly burnt and super dry, like trying to chew leather. Even the sauce didn’t help, except for making the bottom half of the roll super wet. They used to use chicken tenders, but I guess that was a long time ago. The sauce is bland, and the cheese is fairly meh. The mozzarella sticks are also overdone, and the actual garlic knots are doughy as if they didn’t fully cook. For the money I spent and the hour+ I waited for delivery from a store less than 2 miles from my home, I’m very disappointed. Also, my food was delivered across the street instead of to my actual unit (that was clearly noted and correct in my order). Fortunately the person who got my food knows me, and contacted me right away. Overall: overcooked, long wait, food delivered to wrong place. Not exactly a pleasant experience. All we wanted was some comfort food and what we got was just cheap food poorly made and barely delivered.

Horrible experience!! 33 minutes for a slice and knots. Then I only get the slice. Well at least they called it that. More like a piece of charcoal. See the pic. Then I was asked if I just had the slice or had a salad. I said knots.

This used to be my favorite Italian go to for many years. IDK what happened but the food quality has decreased immensely. Recently ordered a Grandma Jr Pizza with 3 meats extra cheese. There was no cheese on the pizza at all, maybe 3 pepperoni's and the whole pizza was drenched in sauce as if to hide that there was no cheese or meat that was paid for. Ugh, we will not be back!!

Was my favorite pizza place in town til last night. Went out with my family to go and eat. We waited about 10 minutes at the counter as multiple employees saw us. In that ten minutes not a single employee acknowledged us. Not a wave, not even a hey we will be with you shortly . Multiple employees just saw us standing there for 10 minutes. Don 't think I 'll ever visit again.
