So we ordered several items to share so we could sample the menu. 80+ plus a tip, this was what we got….I am sharing pics from their website alongside what we actually received. The chicken tenders and ravioli were obviously fried in old oil, they were both very dark and/or overcooked. The fried ravioli pictured shows 7 ravioli plus Mariana sauce. We received 5 ravioli and no marinara. The caprese sandwich had little if any flavor, was soggy, and the upgraded side of parmesan spaghetti squash was basically plain spaghetti squash, I didn’t see let alone taste even a sprinkle of Parmesan anywhere on it. We added protein to some of the dishes, salmon (also darkly cooked) and meatballs with the ravioli. But unfortunately there wasn’t even enough sauce for the ravioli, so if you like dry sauceless meatballs enjoy! And when your kids don’t even like the chicken tenders that says something. The only entree we all enjoyed was the gnocchi with pesto. We heard good things about this place, but I highly recommend saving your money. Olive Garden and even Fazzoli’s put this place to shame.
See photo of what was advertised vs what was received. Not sure how to be happy about 2.5oz of chicken (literally), breaded and fried $15 (note: I did ask for sauce on the side, so I’ve given 1 extra star for ensuring that happened) also… my gnocchis were toasted…???All in all, what I received was no where near a $100 meal.I took a shot, unfortunately it was a miss. I won’t be ordering again.
FYI this is not a restaurant. It's a kitchen inside Simmers. There are no signs to help you figure this out. A strange set up. My food was very good, my husband's not so much His was carbonara which doesn't travel well and it's all take out.
Time and time again roccos has come through, always a pleasant experience!
The onion gruyere ravioli was delicious! Can’t wait to order from Rocco’s again!
