Nit's Cafe - Fort Bragg

The pad thai at this restaurant is truly delicious and feels like a hidden treasure, as the place is small but the food is fantastic. The owner is also very kind.

This small business is really cool. I think the woman who took our orders also cooked the food. Everything was great, except for the Tom Kha soup I ordered. There was only one other employee, a young guy who helped with taking orders and cleaning dishes. When we mentioned that we hadn't received the soup we ordered, he quickly prepared it. However, it seemed to be missing some key ingredients like lemongrass, ginger, and spices. That's why I deducted a star from my rating.

The tiramisu cake was excellent. It was so delicious that I ended up ordering another slice the following day.

Pros:The smells were great!Clean.Cons:1. We found no obvious menu. Eventually we found one on a table. Still it was confusing.2. We couldn 't figure out where to order. When we did our order was on a post-it note. It was as if we should just know things. We didn 't know .3. Our drinks were weak.

I don't know where the baked goods come from but the chocolate chip cookies and the brownies are fantastic! We stopped in based on how good everything looked in the window and I'm really glad we did. The cookie was soft with a ton of chips and the brownies were delicious, soft, and chocolatey. We'll be back for sure!
