Delicious chickpea burger (vegan). Tastier than most we have tried in the UK and the US. Chicken tikka is also pretty decent. Warm good and prompt customer service in a very nice spot. Highly recommend when traveling in Scottish highlands

We visited a charming little pub on a quiet, rainy afternoon, and it was a delightful experience. The service was friendly and efficient, and the beer was expertly kept. I thoroughly enjoyed the Fish and chips, and the vegan Chickpea and Sweet Potato curry was surprisingly better than any other version I've had at different places, despite being a common vegan option. It had a nice subtle kick to it, which set it apart from others I've tried. I also had a starter of tomatoes on bruschetta, but I devoured it too quickly to snap a photo! I highly recommend The Lock Inn.

I had a wonderful time at this charming restaurant, where I enjoyed authentic cuisine. The coffee and chips were particularly delightful, contributing to a lovely old-world atmosphere. The excellent service further enhanced my experience.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be fantastic. You can choose to sit downstairs for a lively pub atmosphere or head upstairs for a serene coastal vibe along with a lovely view of the Caledonian Canal. We tried the Haggis, Cullen Skink, and steak meat pie, and each dish was absolutely delightful. The Bellhaven Saltire Lager was a refreshing beer that paired perfectly with our meal. I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Good pick! We stayed about 10 min away and needed a bite around 8 o'clock on a Sunday night. It was lively. Great views and a great meal and drinks. We split the bruschetta. I had the steak pie it comes with a pastry topper and my wife had a burger. My meal reminded me of a short rib or fantastic pot roast. Highly recommended.
