Chicken Express - Forney

I know it?s middle of the afternoon but all 7 of my strips are dry and shriveled. Three of the seven were so hard that I could barely bite into them let alone chew or swallow a bite. Please remember we pay like 15 dollars for a single meal and give us food with quality that matches the price no matter the time of day.

Absolutely a horrible experience. I LOVE Chicken Express, but will NEVER return to this location. Waited 20+ minutes for tenders and fries (all the while, 2 employees were throwing a football in the parking lot). Paid for 2 extra biscuits, all 3 were hockey pucks. The fries were a wet ball of grease. Had to dry and air fry once returning home. Kind of defeated the purpose of eating out. The chicken was okay. Sweet tea wasn't sweet. If zero stars were available, it would have been selected.

Food is always cold never fresh. I always give them another shot because I have great experiences with other locations. May be time to start driving a little farther to a different location for a better quality product.

This isn't my first time purchasing chicken from this restaurant, so I know what "fresh" chicken looks like, especially when it's hot. Yesterday, I arrived at 8:18 PM, but the dine-in option was closed, so I placed my order through the drive-thru. I was the only car there. The staff informed me that they didn’t have enough chicken for my order of 12 pieces and said it would take 25 minutes. I agreed to wait, but they ended up making me wait over 18 minutes. When I finally received the chicken, it was not fresh; it was almost dry and not even hot. I thought maybe 3 or 4 pieces might be fresh, but they all seemed the same. What's going on?

The first time here got a number 30 regularly with Mac and Cheese, Fritten and Mini-Poppers. The chicken was cooked, but the dough was dirty and not stick. The Mac and the cheese were blown and cooked. The frits were absolutely delicious The poppers were good, but more than half of them had almost reconciled Cheddar, which made them terrible. The rolls were good, the engraving was without taste or consistency, it was basically water with a hint of white color. We put it out and feed the chicken to the dogs and decided to take place taco bell, which was very busy, but no complaints with the food compared. WOULD NOT RECOMMENDS everyone. The food was sub par if you are best Western behind them do yourself a favor and do one of the other options you will thank yourself. The service was fine, the gentelman who took our order seemed definitely to have an attitude, and made an effort to appear uninterested and spoke without intention or volume and mumbled the entire interaction. Hopefully this is not what the franchise customer regularly gives, but what we have experienced, we have all decided that it was the first and is the last time that we will eat here or one of the other stores. Hopefully this will help someone in the future to avoid our fate from this restorer.
