Antico Maniero - FORINO

You eat well with traditional cuisine, many courses are made with own production products. I've always been back with satisfaction for years. It is located in the old Forino on the hill between woods, the village was almost totally destroyed by the 1980 earthquake and rebuilt downstream, but it is now slowly reborn

It seems to eat in an ancient staff very kind and always present fast service. excellent price ratio you eat as cooking the old grandmother . only painful note the wine that was not of my liking.

Cheap but good and abundant fixed menu. If you want a great...no problem very friendly and helpful. Bravo David

On a sunny Sunday around the province of Avellino at lunchtime I found myself in Forino, a place at more than 450 meters above sea level.... Antico Maniero was an amazing gastronomic experience... the hospitality of David (the owner) has made from frame to cheese dishes with flavors of past times, all surrounded by medieval walls where a real family atmosphere was breathed.... all very good from appetizer to dessert and I repeat and underline all cheese (salumi a own production, pasta, tart)... especially I recommend you to taste their black pig with mushrooms and onion ramata of wine Congratulations to David and his family to find friendliness and good food these days is not always easy.... very recommended. I have been in this place several times and every time a confirmation. The kitchen, made of flavors of once, keeps you sitting at the table and accompanies you throughout the dinner. The products, very good, a place to discover every time.
