Bengal Village - Forest Row

Went for a meal here with someone I work with. Knowing that I love curry, she suggested this place. As we parked outside, I couldn't help notice that this place looked so modern and as far away from a trad' curry house that you could get Not a bad thing, because when we entered I was impressed by the decor. All clean lines and many fish tanks built into various areas in the restaurant, even the floor. The ambience was a nice mix of lively chat and relaxed enjoyment. The food had a lot to live up to due to the spectacular surroundings and thankfully, it surpassed it. All the food was cooked to the highest standard and the flavours penetrated the meat in a way that made me feel that care had been taken in preparation. The rice was delicious, oh I better stop here, as I will be waffling on for hours. If you want a new curry experience with lovely small traditional touches, this is the place to eat!

The restaurant has new owners and the food is exceptional! It also offers good value for the price.

£40 for two people and we took our own drinks! not that impressed for the price, khans is better.

Always a First choice for when I feel like an Indian meal, friendly staff and often they throw in a free Cobra beer as part of the meal
