The Beacon Pub - Forest Park

This historic tavern has been a staple for a long time, but its age is becoming more apparent. Both the outside and inside appear worn and could use some care. The prices for beer are a bit high, and during our visit, there were no options for any draft beer—just an old brass rail with all the taps taken away.

Delicious burgers and handmade fries in a charming beer garden. The service was excellent! I will definitely return.

We dined on the patio on a lovely evening. We had cheeseburgers and a patty melt, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely return!

Great patio for a summer night. Burgers, drinks, attentive service, not expensive, beautiful and walkable neighborhood. Went on a week night and stayed until the fireflies came out.
