Old Dairy Tearoom - Forest of Dean

What an absolute gem of a find ! Beautiful quaint and gorgeous food! Found on our way to our forest Lodge girls weekend away. Such great value for money and as a avid afternoon tea participant one of the best. Loved the savory scone option. Sandwiches of your choice.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. It's decorated like a traditional tearoom with beautiful china tea cups and tablecloths. The menu has a wide variety of options, including many gluten-free choices. They are also very welcoming to dogs, both inside and outside. Our two large dogs were treated well and even given a dish of chopped up sausage. The staff were very kind and we will definitely be returning. A tip for future visitors: make sure to book ahead as the restaurant is quite popular and almost all tables were reserved when we visited.

I brought my cousin and husband to this restaurant for breakfast and it was absolutely perfect. We ordered three large breakfasts and one bacon and sausage sandwich with gluten-free bread, all of which were excellent. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. The ambiance is nice and the staff are accommodating and friendly. They also welcome dogs, making it a dog-friendly environment.

We came in as it was advertised as dog friendly and had gluten free options. We weren't disappointed. I had the gluten free veggie breakfast which was huge and delicious. My partner had the BLT which was huge when it arrived. The best part was they even brought out a little something for the dog which was helpful to distract her when other people came in with their dogs.

The best cooked breakfast ever and excellent coffee in a wonderful vintage environment. Didn't have cake this time but from experience l can say they're amazing. Lovely home good food with local produce.
