Curry Leaf Indian - Forest of Dean

First time trying this place after a recommendation. Went out for dinner and ordered chicken tikka biryani, peshwari naan, balti, chicken chaat and puri for starter. The flavours was amazing and portion size’s just right. Definitely will be going back and recommend this place.

We came her for a meal as we were visiting/staying in the areA We had starters of mixed tandoori platter, samosa and chicken chat really fresh an tasty. We then ordered chicken biriani with a lovely peshwari naan, lamb gobi, chicken Parthia and Chicken Rezela all were absolutely delicious with garlic and keema naan

Went with my girlfriend and my parents while we were staying in Cinderford. Very nice food, nicely cooked. I had the Balti which had plenty of succulent meat, with chunky veg and a really tasty thick sauce and the portion size was just right. Ive had a lot of curries in my time and this was up there. Service was also very good, the guy who served us was very friendly and accommodating when my girlfriend ordered off menu. We all said how nice our meals were as was evident from our empty plates.

Went to have a sit in meal but discovered the restaurant doesn’t have an alcohol licence, you have to take your own drinks if you want a beer or wine with your meal. Not a huge problem if we had known in advance however we decided to get a carry out and eat back at the holiday cottage. Ordered a chicken tikka masala and a chicken garak masala with pilau rice. Both were very good and we would use the curry leaf again if in the area.

One of the nicest curries I’ve ever had! First family meal in our new house and will definitely be having it again Very quick aswell
