Cafe Rosie - Forest of Dean

Had a lovely lunch at Caffe Rosie today. We opted for the shepherd's pie and the pork apple and sage cake from the specials board, both served with a delicious gravy. The food was absolutely enjoyable. They also offer a lovely selection of coffee.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at this restaurant, with a large teapot and two English breakfasts that were perfect. The ingredients were of good quality and served on hot plates. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was clean. A group with children came out of the free play area, purchased a tea for one person, and then brought out their own snacks from their pockets.

I had a wonderful time today at the Roses Garden Centre with my one-year-old nephew. We had a delicious English breakfast, opted to sit outdoors, and my nephew had a blast playing on the outdoor game equipment. The staff was friendly and the food was served promptly. We then visited the indoor soft play area which my nephew adored. It was clean and well-maintained. I also purchased some lovely products from the shop. I will definitely be returning in the future.

A nice caffe, good coffee, cake and eat. the garden center is not bad either. their coded security facilities are well thought out and work well.

We popped into Rosie's today for a quick snack. I immediately ordered coffees with sandwiches, one of them toasted. The coffee arrived within minutes but we found ourselves still waiting for the food minutes later. People were coming in after us ..being served their food! In the time we had been there, the people that were in front of me when ordering had been served a cooked meal even finished it we were still waiting. I eventually went to the counter to enquire as to why we were still waiting as I did this another gentleman had the same question for them. He had waited minutes for his soup! I was told they were just being prepared, hence, We waited a further minutes, so I went to the counter to get a refund, telling them it was ridiculous to have to wait minutes for such a simple dish! My husband was on his way out of the door when the sandwiches came out, so we had to sit to eat them. There were at least staff working there it wasn't particularly busy. They just weren't organised.
