Contribuiți la feedbackI went to a Korean BBQ buffet and was impressed with the fresh and tasty meat, as well as the delicious marinades and sauces. The $25 price point was considered good value, though the 2-hour time limit on the buffet was a bit disappointing. The drink prices were slightly high, but understandable considering the affordable food. The buffet had a good variety of pork and chicken for the BBQ, along with other Korean dishes and salads. It would have been helpful to have labels on all the dishes. Despite this, I had an enjoyable evening and would definitely return.
While looking at the menu outside the restaurant, the boss lady greeted us with a big smile and invited us to try their lunch buffet. We decided to give it a try but were disappointed to find that the hot food was barely warm and some items were cold. Even the steamed rice was at room temperature. Overall, if the hot food had been served hot, we would have been much happier customers.
My first visit here. Nice place. Offering a All you can eat BBQ BUFFET. On arrival I was told the buffet is not available for single diners. Even though many people were enjoying the offerings. WHEN; can only 2 or more in a party enjoy an ALL YOU CAN EAT BBQ BUFFET. Maybe something lost in translation. I ordered from the menu and was ignored for the next 10 minutes. When I inquired to the staff I was told that there is a buzzer on the corner of the table if you want to get staff attention. Maybe something else that was lost in translation. I was very impressed when my food arrived. Big portions and very tasty. Very reasonable prices and they sell cold beer.
Recently opened and spacious with attentive staff wishing to please diners, this venue is promising in its design and delivery of a wide range of Korean specialties. Dishes tried at our table included Chicken Bulgogi with a spicy, sweet hot flavour revealing some complexity of tastes on the palate. Presentation was on a sizzling platter and the dish was served with nicely cooked rice sprinkled with black sesame seeds. On an overcast day, soup was called for with Spicy Beef a thicker mix of clear noodles and spicy beef served with steamed rice. The other soup was clearer and thinner, served with rice noodles with more beef. Both were tasty and filling. Traditional Korean accompaniments included Kim Chee (fermented cabbage), pickled vegetables and a creamy salad that included apple and potato. Lunch specials were all $12 (a markdown from their usual prices) so worth a try if they interest. A licensed venue that also accepts BYO as only beer and a Chinese Plum wine are otherwise available apart from variations of tea (herbal mainly with an interesting option of cinnamon orange.
Korean BBQ buffet. Meat was nice and fresh. Tasty marinades and yummy dipping sauces. At $25 it was great value. 2 hour limit on the buffet is a bit of a downer, but manageable. Drink prices a bit on the high side, but I suppose they have to make up for the value food price. Good selection of pork and chicken for the BBQ, other Korean dishes on the hot buffet and a selection of salads as well. Only the meat for the bbq was labeled, probably a good idea to put labels on the other dishes as well so you know what you are actually looking at. Overall and enjoyable evening, will visit again.
