The Ox - Forest Lake

Ordered the chicken schnitzel, Angus burger and kids fish and chips. Not that great and definitely not worth the price. The staff however were very nice and very friendly.

Went here with my colleagues and having our lunch while continuing our discussion from office. The distance from each table are adequately spaced so you don't really worry your discussion will bother other customers. Had chicken wrap and its quite a big serving.

Beautiful food and plenty of it. Friendly staff, cold beer and a really beaut atmosphere. Special mention to the kitchen staff especially the tall young red headed guy. Us Victorians will be back next time we're in Queensland.

For the second year, our family have chosen this restaurant to celebrate Christmas by dining there. The food is lovely, the service excellent and we were seated near the childrens play room so we could clearly see the kids at all times. The Ox has plenty of parking and a pleasant atmosphere. I think we are starting a tradition and will be back many more times not just in December.

Myself and the family come here for lunch on a Sunday after hearing good reviews about it. I ordered steak chips and salad wife had chicken schnitzel chips and salad and teenage girls ordered chicken & avo wraps.Steak was ok couldn't really fault it apart from the $31 I've had better $10steaks at other pubs.Wife said schnitzel was a bit dry but enjoyed it and the girls like the wraps but couldn't finish them so I got to finish them and they were quite nice.So with a milk shake and a couple of cokes that lunch cost just under $100 I wouldn't rave about the food, like I said earlier we've been to our local and eaton for under $60 and it's been a better feed.
