Mr Vinos Cucina - Forest Hills

I was excited to find a vegan cheese option at this Italian deli, which is rare. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. Prices were on the higher side, but that is expected for the neighborhood. However, after looking it up, I discovered that the cheese is not actually vegan, as it contains both coconut and milk. It's still a good spot, but just be aware that it's not vegan.

The best sandwiches on Austin Street! My coworkers and I love the "Spanican", but all of their food is incredible and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely love small neighborhood speciality shops like this and will always passionately support them. Massive chunks of guanciale? Check! You happen to have Grana Padano? Check! Am I happy to hang around and chat with them about anything and everything? Absolutely. This place fills a massive hole in Forest Hills for specialty Italian ingredients and next level known you my whole life customer service.

I had pasta salad, Genman potato salad and lasagna. All delicious, gourmet quality. Will be back.
