Contribuiți la feedbackWe stopped in for a quick lunch as this place is in the building in which we were working. He ordered a bowl and asked for greens and quinoa and later discovered he had been given rice instead. He was not happy. He also asked for a piece of bread and was told all the bread was used for the sandwiches. He asked for a piece off the sandwich since it was late and unlikely that the pile of sandwiches would be sold and they told him no. I asked for a few chickpeas in my bowl and later discovered it was 80% chickpeas and I was not happy. In addition, my colleague told the cashier he was paying for my lunch. The cashier rang up only one bowl and drink. Frustrated, my colleague asked him to charge for my bowl and drink. I repeated it in Spanish as the cashier did not speak English. We assumed he charged both bowls and drinks by the second swipe of the credit charge. My colleague went outside while I waited for my bowl to be finished. The woman making my bowl informed me that despite telling the cashier 3 times to ring up my bowl, my bowl had not been charged. The cashier insisted he did, but the woman insisted that he had not and she could not give me a free salad. Honestly after all the screw ups and a non-English speaking cashier and after being told no less than 3 times that my colleague was paying for both meals and asking for them to be charged, they should have graciously and apologetically given me my bowl. Instead I ended up paying for it. Service and attitude is absolutely horrid and I will never return.
Awesome little place in our office building. I usually only drink Cuban coffee but their coffee is aaaaamazing. It's like earthy nutty and perfectly strong. My favorite coffee is the double shot iced latte. DELICIOUS. They also make good breakfast sandwiches that I occasionally get. The egg ham and cheese croissant is my favorite... it comes this awesome sauce that I clearly need to find out the name of lol. For lunch they have customizable bowls, salads and pre-made sandwiches. Everything from chicken and avocado to Italian and roast beef. The bread is kinda hard but I love the crunch and the seeds all over the crust. When you order a sandwich (breakfast or lunch) they toast it for you what I only know how to call la plancha and the cheese gets all melty and perfect. IIt's very hipster chalkboards and marble and I love every second of it. Every person who works there is warm and welcoming and familiar with the food. JUST TRIED THEIR BLUEBERRY APPLE MUFFIN (see pics) OMG SO GOOOD! I am not a cake person but this was so moist and delicious and not too sweet. Omg I hate myself lol
Moved to the area a couple of months ago and since I work from home I like to take a walk to this cafe to have a break and get some coffee. I have now ordered about 5-6 lattes here, trying to give the place a chance and a fair review but I have been consistently let down. The staff is nice and they are quick to help which is great but the coffee specifically the Latte since that is what I've tried) is just not worth it. It is kind of watery and just a little warm. I feel like by the time I walk back to my apartment the coffee is already cold :
Love this place! Yes it is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The food is excellent and the cookies are made onsite. I got word that the almond croissant's are made by a Michelin star chef and I have to say, they are really good. I just got the chocolate bunt cake today and it is very moist and has a great flavor. They have this coffee drip thing that looks like a chemistry set but makes one hell of a cup of coffee. I have never seen this before coming here and researched it and it is a drip coffee maker that takes about 8 10 hours to brew one drop at a time. Pretty cool. I will be getting more items here more often.
