The Canyon Grill And Alehouse - Folsom

**Review from January 2022** We’ve been regulars for many years, but our experience tonight was exceptional! We chose to sit outside on this cool evening for added comfort. Our server assured us she would check on the heating for us, and she promptly arranged for a propane tank to be set up. Emily, our waitress, was incredibly attentive and friendly, even with a large private party happening nearby. The food, atmosphere, and beer were all fantastic! Highly recommend it!

The bartenders and waitstaff are great, and it feels like the owners are always present with the team. The staff really shines, especially on Friday nights during Folsom High Football games!

Canyon Grill is a lively and inviting spot to enjoy tasty meals, refreshing beers, and great music. The covered outdoor terrace creates a lovely atmosphere for entertainment.

We wanted to visit the Canyon Grill and the Alehouse for a long time, and we finally visited him. We went to Trivia Night on a Wednesday night at 5:30. (We did not expect that, and one of us is hard to hear so that the seating areas began to fill it harder to communicate. We ordered for 3 adults and 1 toddler. The menu is limited when there are events fish chips, ciabatta chicken sandwiches, and a few other things are from the menu. The server was friendly enough to let me order the chicken sandwich anyway, because it was still far before the event. Water was served, but it is itself from the donor through the bar area. They brought the children for the first time as it took a while, but they did not bring any children's drinks (not even water). The food itself was just OK. The side salads use grape tomatoes that do not taste well. The Pommes were good, but not good. The burgers were pretty standard not great, not bad. In general, we left the feeling it is a great place to get a beer and maybe a snack, but it is not a place to go for a good meal and normal dune in service. Maybe it should be called the Canyon Alehouse and Grill, because it certainly has fun at the Vibe beer/brewery, but the food is a kind of afterthought. Go there if you want to get some of their many beers on tap, hang up with friends or maybe sit on the inviting terrace weather that trivia wants to allow or play. There are many high-top and regular table seats and even a few video games and board games at the front door.

Food was good, but really late and some of the substitutions done due to supply issues were questionable. Service was very nice and tried to make it right, but didn't see you know the menu to tap list at all. Trivia was on point and professional.
