Very tasty food and friendly staff. Can ask for varying levels of spice. They were willing to make the papaya salad vegan for us. Large servings. Tastes authentic

Delicious Thai food with general portions! We had pad Thai and Yellow Curry for our family of 4 and 2 sides of rice. This was plenty for us! Would come again if we are ever in the Folsom area, but we have had better Thai food with more robust flavors as the pad Thai was a little sweet and lacked some basic peanut flavor and yellow curry could have had more. They did have chili/hot sauce on the table that may have helped with the flavor, but I didn't think about it until I was almost done. Service was great as they only had one server at the time we came in for dinner. She was attentive and quick running around to each table and phone call.

Staff is super friendly! The staff was attentive and checked on us frequently, ensuring we were satisfied with our meal. I had the Pad Se Ew with chicken at medium heat. Seasoning was evenly dispersed throughout the dish, with generous portions. Could have used more veggies in the dish, though, but no complaints about taste and heat. Wife had the fried rice with mild heat. She enjoyed it along with a side of gyoza. The rice is a large portion so be prepared to bring some home. I also had the Thai Iced Coffee. It was tasty and refreshing but a tad on sweet side for me.

I absolutely love their food! It's one of the best Thai restaurants in the Folsom area that hasn't become overly commercialized. They still maintain that 'Mom and Pop' feel. We are especially fond of their curries, which offer a perfect balance of flavor and spice. They also have a wide range of options, including fantastic lunch combos to choose from, all at reasonable prices.

The food at The River was absolutely delightful; every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and truly satisfying. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience. I highly recommend trying The River, whether you're a fan of Thai cuisine or new to it—you're sure to leave happy!
