I'm not going to lie, I had no idea how to order any of this, how to eat any of this, my knowledge of Indian food is limited, but I had a general idea of what I liked. Luckily, the chef was very patient with me and helped me pick and even labeled everything in the to go order. If you like spicy food you will love it. I recommend if you are not a big spicy fan to get extra mild. The spices itself remind me of black pepper, like a spice, a burn, but not a hurt, if there exists a medley of flavors, this restaurant performs via orchestra. My tongue was confused, I could not close my eyes and tell you what spice was in what. The food was like a painting, it was an art form, just the right amounts to make it something to be enjoyed. It was like grace, each dish was it's own special medium. I look forward to getting to know Indian Cuisine better, and if you are new like I am, try this place. It's very friendly. I enjoyed myself. I have not felt this invigorated about trying a new cuisine like this in years. Thanks for your hospitality!
I went her along my family on XMas day. The food was absolutely authentic and delicious. They have a fine variety of veg and non-veg food. Normally after Indian food I always have people complain about gas issues shortly after but here is one time , I took 11 people and not one complained!! My kids who have low tolerance to spice enjoyed the variety. We would go back here time and again. Looking for you to start a branch in the bay area too!!
I have been to Suvai 6 multiple times. Have tried their Biryani, Thali, Dosa, Chicken Curry and Tea. Very impressed with the quality and the taste. Food tastes authentic and fresh. Highly recommend this place. Their quantity is also a decent portion. They have a brief Menu, which I personally like as there will be less wastage overall. Glad to see good eat outs like Suvai-6 flourishing in the neighborhood. There are couple of good Indian restaurants out here, setting the expectations and standard high for Indian restaurants in Folsom. Keep up the good work Suvai6. Wishing you success and growth. Request: All Indian Restaurants add food color to the Birayni to make it look appetizing. I don't know what type of Food colors you use in your food, in the interest of peoples' health please refrain from using food dyes that are not natural. Appreciate your attention to this.
Well its a mixed review. I am accustomed to eating at Kaveri on Fulton Avenue in Sacramento. The food is amazing there and the variety is great. Here i found the selection lacking. No chicken tika masala no mushroom mutter no chicken vindaloo. What they did have was a chicken thali dinner that i rate as ok or average and a biriyani dinner that my 13 year old daughter absolutely loved. They also had a very friendly helpful server. So at the end of the meal the result is split. I dont care to return there but my daughter begged me to promise that i would at least buy her more of her new favorite Indian dish. I said i would as long as it is to go. The prices are very good so I guess it's a matter of opinion and you must try for yourself to decide yes or no on this restaurant.
