Shogun Sushi Hibachi - Folsom

I've visited this restaurant multiple times, including twice last month. However, I found the food to be excessively sweet. The sushi rice was the sweetest I’ve ever tried, the soup was unexpectedly sweet, and nearly every dish we ordered had the same issue. I really wish they would cut back on the sugar in their food overall.

Definitely not this place for hibachi. The customer service wasn?t good, we walked in and because we didn?t have reservations, they told us to sit on one side table and told us there?s more people going to come but facts; no one was coming. The chef did hibachi was no fun at all?. But the most important thing, the food taste nasty, dry meat and nothing good. Me and my brothers can?t enjoy it but don?t want to say anything since it?s one time experience with them. They used the little boy pee to make fun of it but for us it was not properly. Will not recommend this place for food and will not come back again.

Went here for lunch with my mom. Big restaurant that offers hibachi table service or regular table service. Ordered off the lunch menu (couldn 't understand the waitress enough to determine if we coukd have ordered off another menu) Bento boxes we ordered were ok, but not great. I had teriyaki beef and mom had tempura veggies shrimp. My meat portion seemed small..but it was the lunch menu. My moms tempura veggies we just ok; she didn 't think they were very fresh..broccoli was soft. We thought the overall experience was just meh..

I visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and made a reservation for nine people. The atmosphere was calm, and the service was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and drinks, and the chef did a fantastic job on the hibachi grill. We'll definitely be returning! We tried several hibachi plates and sushi rolls, all of which were delightful.

The experience and food were absolutely fantastic. If you haven't tried hibachi style dining, it's a fun and interactive way to enjoy your meal at a communal table. When you celebrate a birthday there, the staff sings to you, which adds a special touch. They also take a Polaroid picture that you can hang on the wall, and there are hundreds of photos displayed throughout the restaurant. It's truly a wonderful dining experience!
