Chipotle Mexican Grill - Folsom

This is by far the worst Chipotle I have ever visited. The person preparing my food was extremely rude. I requested two portions of guacamole, but he only filled them halfway. When I asked for more, he snapped back, claiming he had already given me enough. I’m sorry, but if I’m paying for two portions of guacamole, I expect to receive two full servings.

I want to highlight Anthony, who was working the evening shift today (9/26/22). His burrito wrapping skills are exceptional! I've never had a burrito stay intact all the way to the last bite before. Thank you for your dedication, Anthony, and for bringing such a positive attitude. It's truly appreciated!

The staff is friendly, but the portion sizes can differ depending on who serves you. The food is always delicious. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side and asked for extra lettuce because the initial serving was a bit small. I'll always be a fan of Chipotle!

It strikes me as odd that if I ordered a burrito, I’d receive the tortilla without an additional fee, as it naturally comes with the order. I’m not asking for a salad with a side tortilla; this is a burrito that’s simply served in a bowl for convenience. They used to ask if I wanted the tortilla in the bowl or on the side, and when I requested it on the side, they would heat it up and wrap it in foil. However, this time, when I raised my concerns, a rather rude employee intervened and dismissed the original server who was trying to assist me. The server was nice and probably newer, just following protocol, but the aggressive employee escalated the situation rather than helping resolve it. When I expressed my frustration, he suggested that I speak with a manager, which I didn't want to do—I just wanted my bowl made as I requested. Instead, I ended up waiting there with a growing line behind me. A manager eventually appeared, although she didn’t identify herself right away. The situation didn't improve; I even asked her if she was the manager due to her demeanor. She was also confrontational, despite my earlier request for a smoother resolution. Meanwhile, the original server had already heated and started wrapping my tortilla, but it ended up just sitting there as I waited. Overall, this experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I left feeling frustrated and unheard.

The kids' quesadilla was missing from the order; all I received was a box of rice and guacamole. Luckily, I had cheese and tortillas at home to make up for it. My steak tacos had hardly three slices of meat, making it a rather unsatisfactory meal. Next time, I’ll probably opt for one of the many other nearby restaurants. This place really needs to step up its quality control.
