This one is out of the beaten, only a smidge. If they see something outside, where most restaurants are gathered, it will be there, and then you turn in.
Fun atmosphere. the food is fresh and tasty! only seats in the open. Live music thurs- mon after signs
That was the absolutely best part of our trip. Chico Feo was recommended to us by a bartender in Charleston, and we are so glad we hear! Everything about this place felt like at home and was the perfect way to end our day on the beach. If you are looking for a good bite, and a good beer, after a day in the sun is where you want to go.
I love Chico Feo and will always suggest going there with my friends when we are on Folly Beach. But I had brought my mother to the beach and we had a great day, and then we went to Chico feo. We had been sitting at the bar for a while and talking to other people. Due to a full bar someone tried to squeeze and order behind me, but could not seem to catch the bar tender. Why? Because the bar was soft there while the other bar ran delicate circles around him. He would dance and check on the customers who seemed to be his regulars, and that was it. I tried to help the guy behind me and tweak in the bar, because the guy stood there for 10 minutes and tried to get service. The bar's bid came over and took his order while under his breath said, "Don't do that." I saw my mom confused if I heard him right. And she said she heard the same thing I did. When the bar offer came back, I asked him what he meant. He said that what I did was “very rude” and while I asked him to explain the right label to get his attention, he then had the boldness to push me. I told him and I and my mother went back to talk to everyone. When I talked to everyone, it seemed like several people had pretty bad experiences with this guy. I just don't understand why someone would be in the service industry if they really don't like people and if they were just rude to them. I don't know, maybe he was crazy because I basically had to do his job for him and had to ask him to serve this guy. But fortunately, people fired me around me and the day was saved. But if I were you, I wouldn't have this guy serving you and definitely not giving him your money. It has bright blue eyes, brown hair and a longer brown beard. Don't let this guy ruin your experience with Chico Feo. It is really a big bar, and such a jewel of foolishness. But this guy will ruin your day when you leave him. It's funny because I feel like I'm a man, he wouldn't even have tried to say what he did.
