I've been here a few times to see events as I live locallyThe Acoustics are not so good to be honest but hey, It's better than having nowhere.

I have been to this venue for both business and pleasure. The channel suite can easily accomodate your needs for conferences and award ceremonies.

Large venue, which I have booked for business on quite a few occasions.

The food was only ok. The starter of fish cakes was enjoyable, tasty and hot , but the Moroccan vegetables was disappointingly tasteless except the overriding taste of balsamic vinegar.

I was surprised that I was phoned the day before and asked for a £10 deposit on our classic afternoon tea for two, which I booked online, however, we could not fault the food which was lovely and freshly made, especially the scones. Being offered a top up on the pot of tea would have been a lovely gesture too!
