Blooms @ 1/4 - Folkestone

I love this restaurant! The atmosphere is great with beautiful furniture, and the food is delicious. This is my third visit to Folkestone, and I always make sure to stop by for a meal on a Saturday during the weekend.

I had lunch with my daughter at this restaurant and it had a very nice atmosphere. The portion sizes were large and plentiful, I couldn't finish my meal. The staff was polite and friendly.

My wife and I had dinner on Friday night. I must say, the two bottles of Barolo were excellent. However, the steak was very gristly. We probably won't be returning for a while. The service was good though, and we did receive a 10% discount on the bill. Overall, the experience somewhat ruined our rare night out.

Had lovely meal with friends. We were late arriving and this was no trouble at all for the staff. Service was good and prompt and the food lovely. We particularity like the scotch egg starter and cocktails.

The food was well presented and very good. I would prefer more choice for vegetarian diners. The only criticism I have is that the service was slow although the waiting staff were extremely busy. We came on a Saturday evening and definitely the restaurant needed more staff. We had to ask for a dessert menu and the coffee showed up before the dessert, which is always a problem.
