Contribuiți la feedbackI decided to give this restaurant a try, and I was not disappointed. The food and cocktails were delicious, and the service was exceptional. If you're looking for a comfortable and peaceful dining experience, this is the place to go.
This place was excellent and a bit pricey. I didn't even mind how pricey it was because of how delicious everything was. We ordered Braised Short Rib and Bone Marrow, Duck Breast and Foie Gras, Cheese Balls, and Chocolate Lava cake. My favorite dishwas the Braised Short Rib and Bone Marrow. My least favorite was the cheese balls. The service was excellent.
My friends and I visited Tavern 157 on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with a romantic ambiance in the neighborhood. The decor was a mix of modern, classic, and cozy, with ample seating. It's a great spot for both a casual night out with friends or a romantic date night. I ordered a glass of Peach Bubbles, which not only looked adorable but also tasted refreshing. For dinner, we shared appetizers of Egg on egg on egg and Rockefeller Oysters, and entrees of Duck Breast with Foie Gras, Braised Short Rib Bone Marrow, and Seafood Spaghetti among our group of three. The portions were generous, though the prices were on the higher side. The food was decent overall, with the standout dish being the creamy and rich Seafood Spaghetti, which was filled with fresh ingredients. The Braised Short Rib Bone Marrow was also a favorite, as it was flavorful and paired perfectly with the ribs.
I had to write this review as soon as I woke up because I may have just discovered my new favorite restaurant in Flushing! The atmosphere is cozy and the decor is tasteful and interesting, with a lot of wilderness-themed decorations. The staff is absolutely incredible. I can't say enough about how kind and accommodating they were to all of our requests. The food was also amazing and the drinks were beautifully presented. We tried the popcorn chicken and risotto cheese balls as appetizers, my sister had the slow baked salmon, I had the braised short rib and bone marrow (yes, bone marrow!), and my boyfriend had the Wagyu burger. This place is definitely one of the best late night spots in Queens. We also enjoyed two creme caramels for dessert, which were lovely.
Crabcakes were small but delicious. Ordered Wagyu beef burger and filet mignon cooked medium but it was more like medium rare. You could literally taste the raw meat in the middle. Service was good and so were the lychee martinis! Overall ok experiencebut a bit overpriced for the quality.
