Pollos Mario Woodhaven - FLUSHING

I had heard great things about this Pollos Mario location, so I went in with high expectations. The restaurant was indeed busy, but the food was fantastic. I was disappointed that they were out of arroz con pollo, but the skirt steak I ordered was delicious. However, the wait for our food was quite long, especially with a party of four. I was also not a fan of the mandatory tip, as I felt the service did not necessarily warrant it. Our server seemed to change towards the end of our meal, which was a bit strange. I believe tips should be based on the quality of service, not forced for any other reason. Despite these issues, I would still recommend this restaurant to others for its high-quality food.

This restaurant is always a safe bet for delicious Colombian cuisine. Their pina coladas are especially exceptional, although a bit expensive, they are incredibly refreshing. The guacamole is also a must-try.

The food is excellent and the portions are generous.

This place looked nice as we drove thru queens, and we were hungry so we decided to stop, the food was good, the service friendly and I enjoyed it although I had better bit definitely worth another shot at it, so I will come back to try different choices
