The restaurant offers live bluegrass music performed on a stage designed for live recording. We've visited twice, and both times the musicians were outstanding and appeared to be truly enjoying themselves. The menu is diverse and intriguing, and the country store features a selection of nostalgic items for sale. This place perfectly embodies the charm of a traditional country store, making it a delightful experience! Don’t miss out on the attached ice cream shop—it’s delicious!

A MUST-SEE in Southwest Virginia!!! Live Bluegrass Music? ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! The Floyd Country Store hosts (and streams on YouTube) their Bluegrass Jamboree, a weekly event every Friday night that features local-style dancing! Every Sunday at 4 PM, there's a Bluegrass Jam Circle where beginners can join in and play alongside locals. The store also provides a space for local artisans to showcase their handcrafted items and farm-to-table products. We even found an old-fashioned microphone made in our home state of Oregon.

Floyd County Store is a great place to eat, listen to music and to shop for items that can only be found at the country store. You can select from many tasty sandwiches and entrees. We listen to music on Sunday afternoon. It is possible to listen to music on most weekends. Enjoy the music. Dance. Eat and enjoy the music.

This fantastic general store, café, and music venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a must-visit! We attended the Friday night Jamboree, and it was such a great time. Plus, the grilled cheese was absolutely delicious!

What a great time! The New Year?s Eve celebration was so much fun! The music was great and the dancing cannot be beat. Every hour there was a fun raffle. The staff are fun and friendly- they helped us find a seat since it was so crowded. I will be back! What a wonderful, family friendly New Year?s Eve.
