Huddle House - Flowery Branch

The Western Omelet was fluffy and perfectly prepared! The grits were a bit on the thin side, which was the only downside to the meal. The coffee was great, as usual. The Free Waffle Wednesday promotion was a nice bonus and made the experience even better! The service was excellent, as always!

This waffle house has a slightly upscale ambiance with beautiful surroundings. The service is friendly, and while the food is generally on par with other waffle houses, they do have some house specialties. They also offer indoor seating.

Our first visit to this restaurant was two years ago, and we found the service and food to be consistently excellent. However, during our last two visits since the pandemic began, we noticed that the team was a bit understaffed. On our first visit back, there were only two employees working, yet they both went above and beyond to serve the entire dining room. Yesterday, we were introduced to Big Matt, who was juggling both cooking and serving duties due to the ongoing staffing challenges. He had a fantastic attitude, and I truly hope the owner and manager recognize all his hard work for the customers. I also wish that those leaving negative reviews could consider the struggle of working with just a two or three-person team in what should be a six or seven-person operation. A big thank you to both Big Matt and the waitress (I apologize for not catching her name) on July 31, 2021. Our breakfasts were delicious, and we really appreciate your efforts!

I had the meat omelet and it was so good. Sausage, bacon and ham. I can't go wrong. The Omelet was perfectly cooked. Staff was friendly
