El Centinela - Flowery Branch

My wife and I love this restaurant for their delicious seafood options. While the other dishes are good, the seafood and fish options are particularly outstanding. My wife chose the beef short ribs, which are her personal favorite, and I opted for the seafood special. Both dishes came with a roasted jalapeno that provided the perfect amount of heat. The salsa had a nice kick that we both enjoyed. Although we didn't capture a photo, there is a full bar available for those who want to enjoy a brief happy hour. They even made a custom margarita for my wife, who prefers low carb and low sugar options. The margarita with orange juice was too sweet for her, so I graciously sipped it instead. Her drink, the Marcy Margarita, was a refreshing mix of tequila, lime juice, and club soda. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant for its fantastic food and beverage options.

This was my first visit to El Centinela and I was pleasantly surprised. I had previously dined at their restaurant on Rt. 53 and thought it was good, but this location exceeded my expectations! The carne asada tacos were amazing, with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meat, and generous portions of cheese. The atmosphere was lovely and the salsa chips were warm and fresh, with a flavorful salsa that had a nice kick to it. I will definitely be coming back!
