Half Shell Oyster House Of Destin

We at the Flowood site ate the golf port and both loved it. We were hungry and in Destin it looked from the side in the middle of the road construction. Knew, we could trust the food to be great! This is just as good as the other places. Brent was our server. Fried food (which I never let myself pamper) was perfectly fried and not a bit greasy! I had the Combo Poboy (Shrimp Oyster) Nabeby had the redfish w/citrus verre blanc sauce with sweet potato brûlée. Everybody was great! It is with the effort to come past road construction/destruction to eat there! Go!

Great service and fantastic food. There was a bit of waiting, but the food quality and the experience of the staff made it completely worth it! Recommended: chocolate obsession, new potatoes and seafood pots! Oh and of course oysters!

Amazing food and good service. We had a dozen oysters on the half shell and a half dozen oysters of rockefeller. They were all delicious and perfectly shoved. The restaurant really went beyond and beyond I tried to order a Moscow mule, although it wasn't on the menu. They didn't have an incubator, but the manager ran out and picked us up a few so we had to drink what we wanted. We also had the sea red Ahi Tuna Steaks and it was perfectly cooked beautiful and rare and very fresh and delicious. Would come back!

Nice place, delicious food wonderful service I really recommend this place in Destin Florida

We had a group of 11. Our server didn’t miss a beat. We tried 3 different kinds of oysters and enjoyed them all, but the Orleans oysters were the best hands down. Caramel apple martini and shrimp and grits were both awesome!!! Great place and much easier on the pockets than other overpriced, subpar quality tourist trap restaurants in the area.
