Lew's Patio And Grill - Floresville

We went to Lew last night. Party of 7. Excellent service, host was friendly, sat immediately on a moderately busy Thursday night. The waitress was very attentive and our food was served within 20-25 minutes. Food quality vs price was 2 1/2 stars. Understand we pay for the view etc.... but if Trail Riders has better tasting food than this setup it does not look good for the business. Typical golf courses food. I'd go back, too.

I ordered the hamburger and Alfredo Fettuccine and was very satisfied. The hamburger was very juicy and well cooked. My wife enjoyed the fatuccine and there was enough to enjoy it as the second meal the next day. A little expensive, but we really enjoyed our meals.

I love her Mango Margarita Grande. I don't like Tequila, but this is so good that I forget it's something I don't usually go for. The food was a little slow to come out and I didn't know why we had to wait 15 minutes to take a seat when there were some tables open. Maybe they were underused in the kitchen, but the food was excellent.

Unfortunately, the food can be a hit or miss. Sometimes it's great and other pretty horrible. Service is usually quite good. Wish the cook could be consistent.

A restaurant in a country club. It was a beautiful building and the staff was welcoming. They won't let you intimidate because it's in a country club. Everyone is welcome to come to the restaurant. But it was the worst thing I've seen for a long time. Our appetizers didn't get out more than 30 minutes. They wanted to refill our drinks and never came back. Just terrible service. They were kind enough, but they did not fulfill their duties at all. We saw that other tables were frustrated and after waiting for a disordered time.
