The Wing Experience - Florence

This used to be a go to for our family on a very (2 times a week) basis, for years. We went one evening a few months ago and they were boasting a great $19.99 deal on ribs. The server (after waiting almost a half hour for drinks) took our order, and after 20 min came back and said I 'm sorry we are out of those ribs! We have the other style, but they are not on special I asked for the manager and explained to him that we are frequent eaters here and have already been there 50 minutes (the place had 10 customers and 7 were at my table) Our order was taken and it took the server 20 minutes to tell us this. He explained that he was sorry, but there was nothing he could do, the price point did not allow him to substitute the other rib type. I could order something else, or ... yes that is where he paused and never finished. My wife ordered an app. and a salad (meal), and the meal came while no one else 's food was anywhere near. *This took 30 more minutes. Then the other food started coming out, and the changed order I and 3 others made, since we couldn 't get the ribs, still were not there, until 45 minutes later. The manager would not take anything off of the meal and gave us a $10 gift card to Make up for the issues , and to give them another chance. The above was a prequel to this... Went there again yesterday, July 4th. The place had 2 tables eating, and empty otherwise. 3 servers, including the bartender. We ordered the ribs and a fried chicken salad. The ribs (again) were on special, which I didn 't see until I had already ordered a tall beer. I asked If I could just pay the difference in the beer, and was told NO sorry, our system will not account for the additional unpaid beer price difference, but he did offer a side (I picked salad) in place of the beer that came with the special, which was fine with me. My wife 's chicken salad was supposed to consist of NUTTY CHICKEN SALAD Mixed greens, feta cheese, candied pecans, dried cranberries, red onions, and strawberries, topped with grilled or fried chicken and honey mustard dressing. It actually had: Mixed greens, feta cheese, topped with grilled or fried chicken and honey mustardWe were told, I 'm sorry, we didn 't have the strawberries or cranberries The ribs were tough, like they were re heated from yesterday, but tasted ok, even if I had to gnaw them off of the bone.They get 1 more chance, and that 's it and I have $200 in gift cards I bought there for them, better use them all on the next visit I am afraid that it will be strike 3, and from the looks of the parking lot when Olive Garden and BJs are full, they aren 't going to be around with this kind of service.OH!!! I do need to question one thing. They used to have smoking in the bar after 9 pm when the place pretty much switched to bar mode, and ALL of the local eateries closed their servers, bartenders, and cooks used to come to eat, drink, and hang out spending money. So, they decided to go NON smoking, which meant those customers went home or somewhere else, and Smokey Bones had to lose a ton of revenue. Not to mention the expiring points and only being allowed to use $10 at a time. They are making all the right moves (SARCASM). Someone, please do something about how things are run at this store before it becomes a Halloween City once a year.

Hands down best all around service , we have had in quite some time . Clean restaurant, polite staff . Charlie was amazing and attentive waitress, that got our order correct first time . Plenty napkins , drinks topped off , not overly smothering . Very educated on the menu . I haven’t finished an entire dinner at one sitting in a restaurant, since I don’t know when lol . Smoked turkey was amazing . We asked for manager to compliment the store and it’s staff and Billy was professional and came directly to our table . Was very proud of his team and the establishment as he should be ! Thanks Smokey bones crew , we will be back !

The pork belly tots are totally amazing. Great service tho.

I’ve never been in person- but I doordashed it for lunch today. It arrived on time, warm, and delicious. I got the boneless maple bacon wings and they were pretty good, I wish there was more sauce but I could have gotten extra for $0.99 if I wanted to. The sweet tea was really good as well as the fries!

Talked to manager Billy he went above and beyond. Fantastic excellent customer service thank you
