Golden Corral - Florence

I visited Golden Corral with a friend for the first time in years on Monday, and the food was delicious. We returned today, and the food was EXCELLENT. The flavors were spot on; everything I tried was seasoned to perfection— the chicken, collard greens, fried okra, rice, roast beef, and liver with onions. A big shoutout to the cook! If I could, I would have tipped them for a job well done. The food today was even better than on Monday. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. And don’t mind the partially eaten chicken in the first photo; I forgot to snap a picture before digging in on Monday. The second picture is from today.

Overall, the food is quite good and the staff is very friendly. I've visited this place countless times over the years, and it truly remains one of my favorite buffets because of the outstanding food. There’s a great variety of options, including steaks cooked to order, and the rolls are the best I’ve ever tasted. However, today I was disappointed with the fried okra and the rice baked underneath the fish. Despite that, everything else was so delicious—especially the warm rolls—that it didn't really affect my experience.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and it had been years since my last visit to a Golden Corral! Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious, and she even offered aluminum foil for those of us who wanted to take some cake home, which was a really thoughtful touch. I will definitely be back!

I arrived just before the restaurant was about to close, but the waiter and cashier were both really pleasant, and the food was quite tasty. They were beginning to clear some items from the buffet, and a few sections were empty, which is why I’m giving it a 4-star rating. The location is nice, surrounded by plenty of other shops.
