Salsamenteria De' Ciompi - Florence

It's such a beautiful place for lunch! We were greeted by a grandma and her granddaughter (both so sweet! who went through all the delicacies they had on that day. We ordered fresh pasta amatriciana, Frutti di mare salad and some fresh crocchettes. All super delicious!

Staff and fried seafood were excellent. You will not be disappointed! You also have seats.

Extremely delicious food! Our hotel recommended the place because they have a lot of vegetarian food and so we went there on a Saturday night. The staff was really nice and helped us with an overview of the food they have, because everything was typical Italian specialties and we didn't know much about the food. But in the end we ordered 5 different small dishes and Aperol splash. Food was really fast and the price was excellent for the amount of food we had.

We had some of the pasta at home to eat, and it was brilliant. The next day we asked if they showed us how it was done, and they invited us to the kitchen to prepare and cook pasta and dinner. Great time with the owner and cook, learned shed loads and the pasta and company was as expected second to none. When you go to Florence, you will see them up and eat there, you will not regret it.

Very friendly staff, excellent food (pasta lasagna) and very good value for money. Also very good beverages!
