I reserved a place and had the cook tasting menu. It was absolutely delishous. The pace was unruahed despit a very busy night. Highest recommendation for innovative dishes
The food here was delicious with a creative presentation. I loved the sea bass ceviche! Staff was friendly and helpful. I would have eaten here again during our short stay if I could have.
Ambiance and setting attractive. Friendly, attentive staff. However the food is not good. Amuse bouche consisting of lean was cold and clearly not prepared immediately. I ordered the 65 degree egg starter. It consisted of a huge bowl of gloopy slimy foam, lumps of too large red onion and egg. It was not appetising at all, I couldn’t eat it. The accompanying bread and side dish were tasty. I had risotto as a a main course. Again a huge portion, far too much butter was used in the cooking process and was the dominant flavour. I really did not like it and could not eat it. It was horrible. This was an expensive mistake. Are they riding on the wave of Stanley Tucci’s recommendation? I did not realise he had recommended this restaurant until I searched reviews after I left the restaurant. I really am disappointed in the Michelin guide for this recommendation, it is undeserved. I had several delicious meals in Florence at restaurants such as Cucina, Cuculia and Il Santo Benitore which were authentic casual fine dining venues. Apart from the kind and friendly staff, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
This was literally some of the best food I have ever eaten. Creative, innovative, fresh menu. Outstanding service!
