Gustapizza - Florence

We came here because of the reviews and were disappointed. The only vegan option they have is Marinara which is just bread dough with tomato sauce and a little bit of garlic. If you like warm bread with tomato sauce it is o.k. At Mr. Pizza in Florence you can have any pizza vegan and/or glutenfree and they have the most amazing vegan mozzarella I have ever tasted. Gustapizza is definitely not the best vegan pizza in Florence and is not really worth the sometimes long wait at the entrance for a table. Tourists fill this place, except for the staff you will not find a single Italian here. Updated from previous review on 2023-05-29

Some of the best pizza in florenz. we have called and made a reservation, but when we are there, we will say that they don't take any reservations so that we can find out that one of them is hit. we waited for 20 minutes to sit, but it was worth the end and the pizza was great. my advice is to be willing to wait for tables to be clear, or just get away, they seemed to churning out pizzas with a pretty good price.

The only vegan option on the menu is the pizza marinara. I had mine with extra onions and capers. There is nothing to complain about the pizza, it was a solid Neapolitan pizza. There are tables inside and outside. The price is fair, but I wouldn’t wait more than 10 minutes for a table, as there is nothing exceptional about either the setting or the food. There may be long waiting lines when you visit (there was a 30’ wait on a Saturday at 2PM for reference).

Had to try because the reviews say best vegan pizza. I thought it was great! Super fresh, super tasty. Thank you other reviewers! We got takeaway because the wait was long and we had another engagement, but it was still good.
