Sakura Japanese- Seafood-Sushi Bar

Everything was mediocre. I had the steak and chicken teriyaki and it was incredibly dry. I had to get a bowl of teriyaki just for it to be edible. The zucchini was really undercooked and hard. The rice did not have good flavor and the peas in it looked like they had been sitting out for a long time. Our sushi rolls were mostly lettuce so that was a disappointment. Only getting three stars at all bc our server (I think her name was Larissa) was PHENOMENAL and the only great thing about our dinner. Also the booths really need to be redone bc they are split horribly.

If you love Sushi then this is the restaurant for Sushi! Try the Big Nasty at Sakura in Florence, SC! You will thank me ! Best Sushi ever!

Had the Hawaiian roll, miso soup, and edamame- all were fantastic! Wish the miso soup had tofu in it but it was still very good. Friend had big nasty roll, which was hot and delicious, and the shrimp bowl, which I didn't taste but was told it was tasty. Service was great!

Soup was not hot even though was given as soon as we sat down. We were a group of 9 n no problems with seating. Food preparation was quick but my dish Seafood Delight was bland n they overcooked the salmon which was very dry. Faces in group did not seem pleased with their plates either. One said her Sushi was not great. Facility was clean. We did have a great time there but don't think our group will be back. There were plenty of parking spaces available!

For an error on their part just experienced the the Worst customer service experience ever! Terrible. Do better by your patrons.
