Pudgee's - Floral City

The burgers are the best. Prime rib stagecoach sandwich is the greatest. Hand cut fries are the best in town I love this place. I won't eat anywhere else .

Went to Pudgee 's for the first time today. Being a snowbird from the Chicago area, I have been looking for a place to get a taste of home. I have a winter home here for the past 6 yrs. and family here for the past 11 yrs. A local resident my wife and I see at a breakfast restaurant we frequent overheard us talking to our waitress about Portillo 's and suggested Pudgee 's. All I can say is they do it RIGHT! Fries are great and the beef combo with the Italian sausage was right on the money. Same with the Vienna hot dog. I realize that those of us from different areas of the country all have a favorite and sometimes the recipe gets modified to meet the demands/tastes of the local population in order for a business to survive. I can 't speak to the New York style items but I can say the Chicago ones are spot on. I have traveled down to Tampa to go to Portillo 's when I wanted a good Italian beef or Chicago dog but will not have to anymore. Pudgee 's will have my business. Had to add this... they now take a credit card. BTW they are now in a new building just a few miles from the old location. BobnPeg
