Mac's Place - Floral City

Great fish n chips for $9. You get a large quantity a fish and chips freshly cooked by the owner Lou. A friendly, nice, jovial man who knows how to cook and rock the jukebox. At times, the atmosphere is extremely smokey. However, I'm not a smoker and I have been able to handle it. My aunt, some friends, and I go most Wednesdays to enjoy the fish and the company. Sometimes, we change it up and Lou will make us half fish half shrimp baskets for the same price. or you can do just shrimp and chips for the same price. Since Lou Cook to order, he will accommodate you; that's one of the best parts about eating at Mac's place. Other great foods including pork sandwiches for under $4 burgers and so forth are served all week long except for Monday when the kitchen is closed and on Sunday. Steak and a side are the only things that are cooked on Sundays around here. For $10 with a band playing on the back patio it's hard to beat.

I love going to this place for a good cold beer. Just a damn good joint.
