Mcalister's Deli - Flint

We've visited this restaurant several times, and each experience has been better than the last. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the service remains quick even during busy times. The restaurant is clean and well-organized!

We had lunch here for the first time today, and both the food and service were excellent. The sweet tea is far better than McDonald's, and they offer free refills. We're definitely planning to return to try more items from the menu. It only cost $27 for the three of us to eat! I’m including some photos; I should have taken one of my daughter's wrap before it was almost gone, haha! The pizza is from the kids' menu, and my grandson loved it, along with the broccoli he ordered himself.

I usually love this place, but I had a disappointing experience today. I ordered a spicy turkey pepper jack sandwich, along with a pickle spear and a bag of chips. Unfortunately, both ladies at the counter were distracted by a FaceTime call, and the staff in the back didn’t seem to be paying attention either. I didn't receive my pickle spear, and my sandwich was basically just a haphazard mix of different cheeses piled onto the bread. I’m in a time crunch and can’t go back, which makes this even more frustrating. To top it off, the sticker on my order didn’t even have the correct name or details.

My wife and I tried something new on this trip through Flint. We were pleasantly surprised as the food seemed fresh and the restaurant was not too busy. My wife had the veggie spud and a sandwich and I had soup and a sandwich and we both thought the food was great. The menu was very extensive and we will have to come back to try some new items. This establishment proudly serves coca-cola. An item of note: *They bus your tables when you are done eating we didn?t realize this until we were about to leave and a employee told us this.

The quality of the food here was great. Big drinks with free refills was a pleasant surprise, with some great blackberry beverage choices. The staff walking around and helping people out for refills or whatever was pretty The options for sandwiches seem endless. ???? and most of them seemed so interesting for the next visit. I liked that they had 4 or 5 soup choices, as well. I will say, though, that I think I would prefer a slightly small spud (baked potato) and slightly bigger sandwich portion. Maybe like, 15 20%. All in all I'l definitely be going back again sometime soon. ????????
