Victoria Inn - Flin Flon

It's a long drive to Flin Flon but I'd make the drive just for another pie! The inn was recommended to me when I was on a business trip recently. When you travel your expectations are not high when you eat at a hotel restaurant but this is the exception too the rules. Inn room is pretty good for the north county. Enjoyed the trip.

Ordered the rib special with sweet chilli Thai sauce, carrots and dill and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was excellent! The server was great too. The only problem is that it is pricey and it took a long, long time to come (an hour.) Also, upset I left my leftovers in the hotel room (this will not effect the rating of course.) Would order again!

I stayed here for work a few weeks back. The hotel itself is fine but the restaurant food and service were excellent! Their pickerel dinner was amazing, accompanied by a twice stuffed potato (my choice) and grilled fresh veggies. My coworker had dill pickle soup which he said was delicious. The skillet breakfast was also very good and generous. The service was attentive and friendly.

Got my reservation wrong. Suppose to be a king, got a two double. They couldn't upgrade/fix either. I had booked a month in advance. Very dated, needs upgrades. Over priced for what you get. Same as rest of chain. Don't even get real glasses to drink from in the room. Food from restaurant is good.

It was nice to find a restaurant right in the hotel and it was a bonus to find such a variety of foods on the menu.The portions were a decent size and they know how to cook a steak!The service was OK. a bit slow and not a lot of visits to the table...but I've certainly been to worse places.I recommend the bacon wrapped fillet, but the pork platter looked amazing!
