Season's At Highland Lake - Flat Rock

My organization chooses Highland for our meetings because of the spaciousness, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere. The scenery is always stunning and the dining options are top-notch. Although I haven't stayed overnight, I am highly impressed with the meeting facilities and the gorgeous campus. Overall, the service and location both earn a 5-star rating. Highlights of the hotel include a great view and a peaceful ambiance.

My daughter and I stayed at Highland Lake Inn overnight for her softball tournament. We had a room in The Lodge. It was reminiscent of the summers I spent in the mountains attending 'cousins camp ' with its homey vibe, surrounded by huge shade trees, a lake, and walking paths. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The Lodge is similar to a Bed and Breakfast with a commons area and downstairs 'gameroom '. There were a couple of decks/porches to relax on while you enjoy the cool breeze and calming sounds of nature. You almost forget you 're just minutes away from historic Flatrock and downtown Hendersonville. This would be a great place for family reunions or softball 'families ' to gather. Came here at recommendation of friends, who we stayed with. Had adjoining cabins. Very quaint, relaxing. Made a good launching place for visiting Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Asheville, DuPont State Park, a big mansion near by and much more. Had a great time! Rooms: Duplex cabins with all the basic amenities. Typical southern porch that was great for a nap or reading or just watching the day go by. Nearby activities: Canoeing, paddle boating, swimming pool, pickle ball, hammocks, grass fields, walking paths, lake for swimming or fishing and more! Food drinks: Breakfast at the 4 Seasons is included. They do a wonderful job at varieties of offerings. Very friendly waitresses. Really enjoyed the full spread. We were looking for a peaceful escape for a couple of days and this resort was exactly what we needed. The spacious cabin we stayed in was spotless, the gas fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere, and the location was peaceful. We explored the grounds, enjoyed the lake and nearby waterfall, and had delicious breakfasts at Season's Restaurant. We would definitely stay here again! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
